THE 2021 SPANK THE CARP POETRY CHALLENGE IS NOW CLOSED

I'm pleased to announce the first ever SPANK the CARP poetry contest with a monetary prize!
- Thanks to StC Patreon patrons and numerous other who have supported StC for making this possible.

Prize

WINNER - If your poem is selected as the winner you will receive $200, and be featured in the December 2021 issue. This will include your poem, commentary you provide, as well as your bio and glamshot.

RUNNER UP - If your poem is selected as the runner up, it will be published in the December 2021 issue. This will include your poem and bio.

Rules

• There is no theme for this contest, so anything goes! (of course the usual submission guidelines apply)
• The editor will be the judge, so read what's been published on StC to get a feel for what he prefers.
• Entry fee is $5, using the button below.
• Send a single entry to [email protected]. Use a subject of "Poetry Contest 2021 Entry".
• Paste your entry into the body of the email.
• Provide just your name. No additional information is needed at this point.​
• DEADLINE:  End of the day November 1st, 2021. Winner and runner up will be notified by November 15th.

- Editor may choose to not select a winner or runner up if there are insufficient entries. In that case entry fees will be refunded.
