MIND OF A POET
John Pearson earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of Texas at El Paso, but in geology not writing. Even so, he has managed to author a book, The Way of the Wind (2021), and will have a poem included in the Anthology of New Mexico Poets (in press, 2023). John first fell in love with poetry after hearing T.S. Eliot read aloud in 1976. He feels deeply that creative writing is the voice of the soul.
