Shape Poems, Sci Fi, Flash, and an ekphrastic Poem, a veritable literature fruitcake, all in one issue. Tell me that isn’t tasty! And so too in our own writing, variety can be beneficial. Think of yourself as a poet? Try starting a mystery novel. Literary novelist? Try your hand at a sci fi poem. A what!? Yes, a science fiction poem. Editor of a carp-based online lit site? Try a romance...okay that’s going too far. You get my point. Mix it up. Don’t shoot for publication necessarily, but only enrichment and fun. Think Royal, not Chas, Tenenbaum.

AUTHOR PROFILE - Paul Hostovsky Paul Hostovsky’s work has appeared multiple times on StC, and his bio is so impressive. But on top of that he works literally day in and day out assisting the deaf and the blind. How could I not feature him in this issue’s author profile?
