Pond 18 - 2016
Submissions are open
The 2nd Annual Poetry contest is now closed. The response this year was wonderful, far better than last year. Winners will be announced May 1st.
Just a reminder about the new Feedback form at the bottom of each featured author’s page who has requested it. I charge the author a small fee for this option, so please use it to send them any feedback you have, even if it’s a simple ‘Great Job’. And be sure to check out the new images by Linda Eve Diamond in the Carpwork Gallery. Enjoy! - Ken |

P O E M John P. Kristofco’s ‘Yeti’ is a lighthearted riff on that he-man about town (and forest) and his (her?) place in our hearts.

S H O R T S T O R Y ‘The Joy Of Living To Two Hundred’ by Ken Poyner is laugh-out-loud funny, R-rated, and made my day when I reviewed it. Before reading be sure to swallow your beverage.

AUTHOR PROFILE - William Quincy Belle William Quincy Belle is out there, just like his stories that have appeared on StC. Skilled ‘out there’ is wonderful. Ready for more?

S H O R T S T O R Y ‘Unused Room’ by Scott Parson is a mini-thriller that’s part sci-fi, part horror, and maybe just shear madness.

S H O R T S T O R Y It’s hard to say much about J.D. Hager’s ‘Lucky Me’ without giving it away. Suffice it to say there’s more there than meets the eye.

P O E M ‘The Algebra of My Death’ by Ed McCafferty proves being an expert in Corrosion Science doesn’t mean you can’t also create thought-provoking poetry.
